Visit Mallorca

Monday 15 June 2015

I recently travelled to the Spanish island of Mallorca for a week-long vacay with one of my best friends.

As we've gotten older the choices of holiday activities has drastically changed, with partying coming way down the list this time round and exploring was our priority!

The island is beautiful, tiny but beautiful. It only takes about 2 and a half hours to travel the widest distance across the island so exploring is super easy. We wanted to see more of the besutiful landscapes that the island has to offer, here are my must-visit places around the island of Mallorca.

Sa Dragonera

We discovered this little island on Google before we left the UK and knew we had to visit it. The island just off the west coast of Mallorca is shaped like a sleeping dragon - hence its name - and is home to thousands of tiny little lizards. The island is unhabited but has four different hiking trails to explore.

The Caves of Hams and Draach

When we visited the island last year we ran out of time and weren't able to visit the infamous caves on the east coast of the island, so one of the first things we did this time was book a day trip out to the east.

We visited the Caves of Hams which were a lot quieter and smaller than the Caves of Draach, but no less beautiful!
